Future4Refugees

“Strengthening the academic and employment potential of young Ukrainian refugees through digital skills” (Future4Refugees) is a two-year project of the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen, carried out in partnership with Fundacja Ignatianum.

The project develops the knowledge and skills of young Ukrainian forced migrants aged 15–18 in using modern digital technologies for learning and for personal and professional development, connecting them with local schools and universities in Czechia and Poland.

Its results are the “Digital Knowledge Guide for Young Refugees” and online courses (MOOCs) for young people and educators in four languages: English, Ukrainian, Polish and Czech. Fundacja Ignatianum provided expertise in non-formal work with refugees, an online seminar with psychologists and the roll-out of the course for educators.
